I wish I could say one way or the other but I don't have an image before my update, cause I forgot to make one, and don't feel like reinstalling Windows 10 again.

There is also the possibility this only worked cause I have the new update installed, so if it doesn't work first time around try updating to the new update and try it again. I will try, keyword there try, to remember what happened to me in the Nov update ver of Win 10, but no guarantee. Therefore some instructions may not match up exactly. I am running Windows 10 Pro 圆4 with the new Anniversary Update. I will tell you where to stop if you need to. This isn't meant to scare you but if you deviate from these instructions that's on you. If it doesn't or causes damage to any hardware on your PC, you take whole and complete responsibility for the repercussions of the result. First a disclaimer because were manually changing drivers here, this should be done exactly as I tell you for it to work correctly. The solution I have is easy but takes a little time to get done because your system might want to restart. For some reason the installer and Windows 10 isn't installing the 0255 driver, instead it's forcing the 075C. There are two different hardware versions of the X52 which are "PID 075C" and "PID 0255".

It comes down to a simple but specific issue in the driver install process. With that collaboration a solution was just figured out! I than decided to contact the people over at Saitek/Madcatz support. I have used previous drivers, beta drivers and combination in between but with no success what so ever. I have been suffering from the same problem. Keep checking the drivers from the windows tab (i think we are on version 7.?.? atm) to make sure they are the latest ones.Įverything is fine now, even the little mouse thing on the throttle works in ED, which i never had before. The order is important otherwise you seem to end up with old drivers.

download software and run as new installation 8. go to Saitek website and select drivers/win 10 configuration & download and save 7. turned of computer and let it cool down 5. in win 10 settings search typed drivers, selected human interface something or other and x52, uninstalled drivers from the driver tab. disconnect x52 (pull out the USB connection). make sure when you download the new drivers that your x52 is disconnected or it wont work.įrom memory this is what I did to get it working - 1. Don't trust the installer to install the correct one, Windows seems to want to load old drivers first. Please check (in windows 10) that the version of the driver you are using is actually the one you downloaded. New Saitek Software & Drivers and windows 10, been there and got that Tee shirt, so I know your frustration. I cannot remember what I did to fix it though. The familiar part about this is I remember having this problem in the past and it was a simple fix to get the control panel working again. I tried installing them and they install just fine, but I still cannot access that control panel no matter what I do. Just so I was sure, I redownloaded the latest windows 10 圆4 drivers for the x52 and made sure they were the correct ones. I've tried running it as an admin, but that does not work either. I have tried deleting all of the registry keys for this device and uninstalling the programming software and reinstalling. I have tried installing the latest drivers, rolling back to the ones I had before when it did work, but that didn't do anything. It does not show the saitek x52 control panel with all of the configuration options. I can access windows' generic version of the device's control panel by going to the windows control panel > devices and printers > then right clicking on the x52 and going to properties, but all that shows is the button test page and it has a calibration page. I really need it to work so I can configure settings and get the few extra buttons that are useful. I can right click on the icon and have the menu open, but if I click on the control panel option, it doesn't do anything more. However, today, I tried to access the control panel for the device and it will not open. There I would be able to configure things like the time on the MFD, the time zones, buttons, sensitivity, etc. I could access the device's control panel by right clicking on the icon in the taskbar and it would show up.

I have a Saitek x52 controller, and in the past I would install the drivers and everything would work just fine.
